Chris Paul trade rumors are getting controversial day by day, and there is no end of it. Earlier it was stated that Chris Paul and James Harden are not talking to each other, and won’t play in the same team. The Houston Rockets denied those reports and assured both the players would be in the team for the next NBA season.

But the recent $228 million 4-year deal to extend the contract of James Harden, says something else for the Rockets. There is no way now that the team can pay $124 to Chris Paul for another three years. The Rockets will now have to trade Paul, and here are the possible deals.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers could be a possible destination for Chris Paul, as he and LeBron James have good bonding. While the Lakers and the Rockets have no problem for the trade deal, but the money cap space is an issue. The Lakers have already spent so much on Anthony Davis; they have hardly anything left. To make a deal with Rockets, they have to sell out their most valuable assets, which has no point.
Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics need someone to replace Kyrie Irving, and Chris Paul can do that. Gordon Hayward is of not much use to the Celtics and can be traded to the Rockets. James Harden and Hayward will make a good pair for the Houston team, and also reduce his burden. Even the Boston team would love to have Chris Paul, which they tried way earlier in 2011.
Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns have a lot of young players, but they need someone with experience for a point guard position. Chris Paul is the ideal candidate for the Suns and can be paired with Devin Booker. While the Rockets would get T.J. Warren, Josh Jackson and Tyler Johnson, which are not much experienced but can be trained for the future NBA seasons.
Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic could trade in Chris Paul and pair him up with their All-Star Nikola Vucevic. While the Houston Rockets would get Mike Conley, which is a better upgrade than a bunch of amateurs. Memphis Grizzlies could be a mediator in the deal and can get Aaron Gordon and DJ Augustin, along with a No. 16 draft pickup from Orlando team.
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat team is not doing good since the past years and is stuck with many mediocre players. It would be a perfect opportunity for them to trade in Chris Paul and send out the other average players. Goran Dragic, James Johnson, and Derrick Jones Jr could be traded out to Houston Rockets to seal the deal. The Rockets would be happy to get 3 young players and not spending the future money on Chris Paul.
