Although, after the release of Captain Marvel things changed. The new promos of Avengers: Endgame added fuel to the already blazing fire. Social Media was hijacked by the idea of Valkyrie being the one.

However, these prophesy and rumours now seem to be slowly setting into reality. As the Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the directors of Captain Marvel too expressed the fact of having similar views on the subject.

While speaking to CinemaBlend Anna and Ryan said that they too would like to see the two teaming up together on the big screen. Fleck said
There’s been a lot of… look, I have no idea what the plans are for the future. But the speculation online about Carol and Valkyrie teaming up, I think, is a pretty cool, pretty cool idea,”
While Anna Boden said
“She’s one of my favorite women of Marvel.”

Valkyrie is a character played by Tessa Thompson, which was first introduced in Thor: Ragnarok. The character featured in Avengers: Endgame as well, helping the Avengers to beat Thanos. Valkyrie is a bisexual and has been confirmed by the Marvel Studios.
Captain Marvel is Marvel Studios first female-led film. After over a decade of moviemaking, Marvel Studio finally released a female-led film this year on 27th February. Starring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers. The movie turned out to be a massive success. It earned nearly 1 billion dollars at the worldwide box office.
Though the film was set back in 1995, the audience got a view of how Captain Marvel would appear in the present days in Avenger: Endgames.
