Brazillian football star Neymar Jr faces rape allegations

Brazillian football star Neymar Jr. has once again landed in trouble, a big one this time. He has been accused of rape by a woman in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has reported the incident to have happened in a hotel room in Paris where Neymar called her.

The woman accused that Neymar had assaulted her in a drunken state in the upmarket Paris hotel. The incident comes as a big distraction to the 27-year old Brazilian player preparing to lead his country in Copa America.

He “turned aggressive” and forced her – Reports

As per police reports, the woman came to know Brazillian football star Neymar Jr. through Instagram after which they started exchanging messages. Later Neymar invited her to meet him in Paris and even pay for her travel.

She accepted the offer and reached the hotel where they met and “exchanged caresses” but Neymar suddenly turned aggressive. He assaulted her and had sex with her forcefully, she claimed.

The incident is claimed to have happened on 15th May but she failed to report it as late as 31st. According to the report, she was more upset and insecure to file a complaint in a foreign country and so came back home on 17th and filed a complaint a fortnight later.

Brazilian football star Neymar lands in trouble again

In the last World Cup, Neymar was constantly criticized for flapping and falling over little impacts. Brazillian football star Neymar Jr. is also regarded as the bad boy due to his partying behavior.

He was also seen on crutches on a show in Rio’s carnival while nursing an injury by which he missed PSG’s semifinal match.

Neymar has been a key figure for Brazil since 2014. He was a teen prodigy playing for club Santos before moving on to Spanish Giants Barcelona. He was transferred to a record $250m fee after 4 years to PSG.

Brazillian football star Neymar Jr. is expected to return to Spain as per sources. It’s not yet clear if it would be Barca or Real Madrid this time though.

Another Soccer legend Ronaldo is also facing rape charges on him dating back to an incident of 2009. Ronaldo was alleged by Kathryn Morgua(34) to have raped her on June 13, 2009.
