Conor McGregor was Invited to Artem Lobov vs Paulie Malignaggi
Reports now point out that McGregor was indeed invited to the Lobov vs Malignaggi main event. BKFC President Dave Feldman went as far as commenting “They won’t give confirmation yet but if I’m a betting man, I’m betting he’s coming.” However, he did not say for sure if McGregor WILL be at the event.
Conor McGregor was expected to attend because he is a close friend of Artem Lobov and has a long-standing rivalry with former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi.
Why Did McGregor Not Attend BKFC 6?
There could be multiple reasons as to why he did not attend the event. However, the most common theory here is that McGregor did not attend Lobov vs Malignaggi because he is a superstar and he understands his ‘drawing power’ and might not want to give the rival promotion a boost in the viewership. Nevertheless, he congratulated Lobov for the win later on.
