Khabib, who hasn’t fought in the UFC since the aftermath of UFC 229, continues to keep a close eye at what’s happening in the company. He realizes that Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje are among two of the biggest names right now and wants to face them before a McGregor vs Khabib rematch.

He even suggested that Tony vs Gaethje should be a fight and whoever wins this match will get to face him. Khabib even suggested that UFC can make this fight a co-main event at Abu Dhabi during UFC 242 where he faces off against Dustin Poirier in the main event.

A rematch between McGregor vs Khabib is what we have all been waiting for. However, while McGregor seems to have “retired” until he gets a share in the UFC (which is highly unlikely), Khabib has asked him to pile up a few wins before he faces him again.
