The show has good ratings, just second to NBC’s another show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Tracey Pakosta and Lisa Katz also appreciated the show as well as scripted programming’s co-presidents during an interview. They said,

The actor Ben Feldman who portrays the role of Jonah said that in today’s time, making a fifth season of the show is a big thing. People don’t even expect that they would be back for a second season.
