While fans admired David and Dan for the first five seasons, they believe their work has gone downhill for later seasons of Game of Thrones. D&D are now called as Dumb and Dumber for their poor writing and rushed story for Game of Thrones Season 8.
Real Reasons
Many fans are wondering what the writer duo who bought Game of Thrones from books to TV and made it the most popular show, have now screwed it. Well, Game of Thrones is been running since around 10 years and Season 8 was written without the books. D&D are tired and wanted to end the Game of Thrones TV show as soon as possible.
HBO offered them a higher budget and was even ready to greenlight one more Season with 10 episodes each, but David and Dan wanted to move on. The real reason being they are hired by Disney to make the upcoming Star Wars movie trilogy. D&D choose to hurry Game of Thrones Season 8 for their other projects, which made it worse.
