Verizon Samsung Galaxy S10 5G price and the bold claims by CEO
Verizon and Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G at a starting price of $1299.
Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg thinks that the price will not stop people from buying the phone.
In an interview with CNBC, Hans claimed that the Verizon Galaxy S10 5G will bring a great experience to the people who will buy the phone. He also claimed that on the day of launch they have sold tens of thousands of phones.
Even though the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is priced steeply it should be kept in the mind that it is the first phone to sport the integrated 5G hardware.
Previously Moto Z3 was the only device that supported 5G using a Moto Mod priced at $200.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Speed
TechRadar has tested out the speed of Galaxy S10 5G on the Verzion’s ultra-wideband 5G network.
The result shared by TechRadar shows that the Galaxy S10 5G is clocking a download speed of 1Gbps which is lower than the claimed 1.5Gbps.
The phone is was able to download the Fortnite in 2 minutes and 55 seconds and it was able to download Asphalt 9: Legends 2 minutes and 23 seconds.
Interestingly the other high-end flagship device with LTE struggle to clock the download speed of 20 Mbps.
