Matt Reeves who has been helmed the job of the director was looking for a young actor. While there were many contenders for the role of the caped crusader, Robert Pattinson seems to come out at the top. Here are all the details about the upcoming Batman movie.

The youngest Batman

Robert Pattison, the English actor who started his career with Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is just 33 years old. Looking at the previous actors, Robert will be the youngest actor to play the role of Batman in any movie.

While age is not related to talent, Robert has proved himself to be an incredible actor with his previous works. They were always looking at a younger cast as Matt Reeves wanted the Batman movie to be set in the past. The final choice was between Robert and Armie, where they are going forward with Robert Pattinson. It is also rumored that Armie Hammer is in talks to play Green Lantern, joining Batman and others in Justice League.

Matt Reeves, the director of the new Batman movie has finished the script for the movie. The movie will set around 10 years in the past and feature a young Bruce Wayne solving a murder mystery. The Batman movie will focus more on the detective skills of Batman and will also have that horror and noir feel.
