The open world role-playing fantasy video game developed by Bethesda Studios, The Elder Scrolls, is all set for its sixth instalment. Todd Howard, the Bethesda head introduced the Elder Scrolls 6 teaser at E3 2018.
The Elder Scrolls 6 is in a pre-production phase so unfortunately, we are looking at a long waiting time before we see the next Elder Scrolls release. The next taste of Bethesda fantasy is a long haul from now.

Todd Howard announced that the company is currently working on Starfield and the release of Elder Scrolls 6 would come after Starfield.
Bethesda, as of now is using its manpower and resources for the development of Starfield, it indicates that the next Elder Scrolls iteration could take a few years before it hit the shelves.
When can I play the game?
In an interview with GameSpot, Zenimax Online Studios game director Matt Firor stated,
You can go back and count the years between Bethesda Game Studios releases, and you’ll get the idea that [The Elder Scrolls VI is] not coming anytime soon.

The Elder Scrolls 6 will not be set in the Morrowind, Skyrim, Cyrodiil, and the Summerset Isles regions. This is very clear from the teasers that the developer released.
So now the contention is between the Hammerfell, High Rock, or even Valenwood
Gamer Grandma as NPC
The gamer grandma, Shirley Curry, is rumoured to be included in the game as an NPC. In Bethesda’s 25th-anniversary video, we saw an impression of her character model.
New Features
It is rumoured that the Elder Scrolls VI will introduce the idea of town creation into their game. The natural elements of the game i.e the used debris and junk, players can use them to craft various materials.
Bethesda released a VR support for Skyrim so the usage of virtual reality in the Elder Scrolls 6 is very much possible.
It is obvious that the next Elder Scrolls installment will come with improved graphics and gameplay mechanism.
