Terminator Dark Fate Trailer Breakdown: Sarah Connor is back with a Twist!

In the age of sequels and spin-offs, James Cameron is once again back with the Terminator franchise. The sixth movie in the series is called Terminator: Dark Fate and a brand new trailer have been dropped. Terminator: Dark Fate is produced by Paramount Pictures and directed by the Deadpool director, Tim Miller. Here is what the trailer breakdown for the latest Terminator movie.

The new official teaser trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate was released just a few hours earlier on Youtube by the makers. Plot for this Terminator movie almost looks the same as previous movies. A Terminator is sent from future Skynet to kill John Connor. But this time there is a twist, the new killing machine is looking for someone else in the Terminator: Dark Fate trailer.

Sarah Connor is Back

While giving away most of the plot, the new trailer of Terminator: Dark Fate focuses majorly on the return of Sarah Connor. Linda Hamilton is once again back to portray the iconic character and looks more badass than ever. She protects Dani Ramos and forms a new female team while Rev-9, an advanced liquid metal Terminator from the future tries to kill them.

Connection with previous Movies

What surprising is that since James Cameron has given an input in the story, it is directly related to the first two Terminator movies. The rest of Terminator movie events (Terminator 3,4, and 5) are discarded as an alternate reality. The story picks up 20 years later after the events of Terminator: Judgement day.

Cast and Release Date

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton are reprising their original roles T-800 and Sarah Connor. Natalia Reyes is playing the role of Dani Ramos who is protected by Mackenzie Davis’ character Grace who itself is a hybrid. While Gabriel Luna famous for his portrayal of Ghost Rider is playing Rev-9, the terminator from future. Terminator: Dark Fate is set to release on November 1, 2019, in the US and other parts of the world.
