With Riverdale’s season three coming to an end, fans fear the death of a major character in Riverdale Season 3.
Riverdale’s latest teaser flash forwarded the absence of this character. Fans are left shocked by this dramatic cliffhanger.
Riverdale leaves fans on a cliffhanger
Riverdale Season 3, episode 22 left fans in a state of worry. The teaser presumed death of one of the four core characters of Riverdale.
The teaser showed the core four: Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart), Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), standing in front of a burning forest. There were no signs of Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) until his beanie was seen soaked in blood.
However, it is not the first time fans were left shocked with the presumption of Jughead’s death.
Fans call it “repeating the twist”
Riverdale’s season 2 finale also teased the death of Jughead, after he was attached by the Ghoulies.

A few fans called out the show for teasing the repeated death twist.
Nonetheless, fans do not anticipate Jughead to be dead.
Some of the fans expressed their disgust,
“Why are they always trying to make it look like Jughead dies?! I swear to God!”
“I swear to god if Jughead is dead next season, I won’t be watching. Heartbroken.”
“I REALLY HOPE JUGHEAD ISN’T DEAD I COULDN’T TAKE IT. WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE US OFF LIKE THAT?”
“YOU CAN’T HAVE THE CORE FOUR WITHOUT JUGHEAD JONES I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL FIGHT EVERY B***H IN THAT WRITERS’ ROOM.”

In the fast forward teaser of Riverdale Season 3, episode 22, Betty told Archie to throw the beanie and the remaining clothes of Jughead into the fire. The teaser called for meltdown moment of the show’s fans.
The fast forward was released after Gargoyle King had asked the core four to finish the final series of quests.
The Riverdale’s core four characters were threatened with poisoning death if they failed the quests.
And, fans anticipated a happy ending of the season. Oh, what an irony!
