What is Rick and Morty serialization and how would it affect the show? Here are the explanation and new updates on season 4.

What is Serialization?

Rick and Morty Season 4 serialization

Most of the cartoon shows after a few years are turned from an episode by episode to a serial format. Generally, for network shows, they are released in season, where each season has its own separate plot. There is a considerable gap of several years before the next installment comes out.

But for the serials, it continues without any break and story is connected. With the upcoming 70 episodes and moving to the cable network, it looks like there will be a serialization of Rick and Morty season 4.

Final Conclusion

Rick and Morty Season 4 release date

The serialized format and season format have its own benefits and Rick and Morty should pick the better of both worlds. As long as the writing standards are maintained, it doesn’t matter which format it adapts. Given the trailer for Rick and Morty season 4 is yet to release, we should not dwell that much into future. Dan Harmon and Justin Rolland, the makers, are experienced enough and will take the best decision for Rick and Morty.
