OnePlus has finally released the Android Pie update for its two smartphones, the OnePlus 3 and 3T. Following beta builds since April, the company has ultimately released the Android 9 Pie update as promised.
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T get Android 9 Pie update
After receiving two major Android software updates. One in 2017, which is Android Nougat and Android Oreo update in 2018. This is the third major update.

OnePlus has confirmed that they will provide security updates for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T till November 2019.
The Android 9 update is 1.6GB in size and also incorporates the Android security patch update for April.
The update is gradually being rolled out by OnePlus so don’t worry if you still haven’t received the update. You can always manually flash the update onto your device.

Just a reminder, the OnePlus 3 is powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adrone 530 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 3,000 mAh with Dash charging, 3.5 mm audio jack.
FHD display, 16MP rear camera, and a front 8MP camera.
As far as 3T is concerned an improved Snapdragon 821 processor powers this phone, 6GB of RAM, 16MP rear and front camera, FHD display, 3,400 mAh, headphone jack.
