OnePlus 7 Pro specs review
The display and the underlying specs work in tandem to ensure a buttery smooth experience for the user. This new offering from OnePlus operates without faults, and at a price of $699, it is simply too good to be placed behind the likes of the Galaxy S10 and the iPhone X.
By launching this premium ‘Pro’ model of the OnePlus 7 first, OnePlus have given a clear signal to the other leading manufacturers that they are in for a battle.
As we look at the design of the OnePlus 7 Pro, it is clear that the company took some hints from other manufacturers. The back and front full glass design, along with the curved edges, reeks of Samsung’s typical design style. But the unique color offerings, especially the dynamic blue color, is where OnePlus sets itself apart.
The star of the show, however, is the screen. Covering the whole front side, with no bezels, the magnificent OLED has a never-seen-before 90 Hz refresh rate. What this means for the user is an uncannily smooth experience with the phone.
Another aspect of the phone that has been catching eyeballs is the selfie camera. The phone has a pop-up selfie camera, which pops up when you open the camera app. OnePlus have dispelled rumors of its durability, stating that the camera can endure as many as three hundred thousand pop-ups.
Along with that, the camera has some neat tricks to enhance it’s life span as well. For instance, when pressure is applied on the camera, it slides back into place automatically. Or, when the camera is dropped from a height, it slides back within a fraction of a second.
While OnePlus 7 Pro has been taking most of the headlines, the OnePlus 7 is scheduled for a simultaneous launch as well. The two handsets will be sold in various major cities across the world from May 16.
