Netflix The Umbrella Academy Season 2 progress so far

After its release in February 2019, The Umbrella Academy became a hit instantly. The fans were really excited about its Season 2 update. The first season released on 15 February 2019. The fans have been waiting for its second season ever since.

Netflix confirms The Umbrella Academy Season 2

As per Netflix reports, the first season was viewed by 45 million people all over the world within the first month of its release. There is no official announcement regarding the second season of The Umbrella Academy by the streaming giant yet.

The cast members Aidan Gallagher and Ellen Page dropped some hints about the second season recently. Ellen Page played the role of Season 1 gave hints through her Instagram post that the fans can expect the second season to come out soon.

The caption dropped a subtle hint with a heart and an umbrella and 2 written alongside it. The umbrella in the fan art also consists of 2 written on it. Aidan Gallagher (Number 5) also tweeted back in response to Alternative Press who has asked about the show’s release date.

In the tweet, Gallagher has written,

While I have no doubts because I’ve been to the future (it sucks by the way)– no word from Netflix on a 2nd season has been given to anyone yet. When it comes they will make it loud and headline clear to all.

The actor confirmed the news in another tweet that the show is returning for another season. It has been officially confirmed by the streaming service as well. So the fans will soon get to know about its release date as well.
