Gus may be leaving
Giancarlo Esposito plays Gus Fring who is one of the most famous characters of Breaking Bad. He was killed in the fourth season of the show, but fans were delighted to see him back in Better Call Saul. However, it may now be time to say goodbye to him again. Speculations have stated that he will be leaving the prequel too.
The rumour started when the actor said in an interview that he was not sure how long the show would run. He said that Better Call Saul would only last for six seasons. He also talked about a new character which will be introduced in the fifth season.
A new character will be introduced
He said that ‘Lalo’ Salamanca will be the new character who will ‘deal’ with him. Now, this could mean anything, but reports have suggested that this may probably be the end of the journey for our favorite villain.
Giancarlo has also been cast recently in several other projects like the Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, which is set to be released on Disney’s streaming channel called Disney Plus. In the show, he will work alongside Pedro Pascal, and ex Game of Thrones cast member.
With all these new projects on the horizon, we may be seeing the end of Gus. To know more, catch the fifth season of Better Call Saul on AMC.
