Has Love Island 2019 release been postponed?

Everyone is looking forward to a brand new season of Love Island. But are the fans in for some surprise? Here’s all you need to know about Love Island 2019.

ITV has already officially confirmed Love Island 2019 and the doors of the villa will open once again and the contestants will get to search their soul mate. Iain Stirling will narrate and Caroline Flack will return as the host of the show. In the previous installment, we saw Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer steal the show. After hearing about the tragic news about the Love Island contestants, the viewers want the show to be canceled.

When does Love Island 2019 release?

The show is set to begin on 3 June on ITV2. We don’t have the details about it’s start time yet, but you can expect to watch it at 9 pm British Summer Time. Host Caroline Flack was featured in the video released by ITV2 on Twitter.

The show will air every weeknight on this channel and Sunday following that. You can either watch the episodes on TV or stream them live using ITV Hub. The contestants’ names of the upcoming installment have not been revealed yet.

Will the show get postponed?

Currently, we are hopeful that the show won’t be postponed. Several people including mental health experts, MPs and viewers called ITV2 to get the show canceled. Mike Thalassitis (26) and Sophie Gradon (32) took their lives recently. The Jeremy Kyle show also got canceled after Steven Dymond died when he failed a lie detector test.

The pressure on ITV bosses and Love Island has increased ever since the death of the contestants. Tory Simon Hart said,

My view is that if I was responsible for Love Island I would be spending all my time double and triple checking that my ‘duty of care’ was in place.

The medical team will be present at the site during filming, apart from the other therapies, financial management, and social media training.
