Game of Thrones Season 8 to have more episodes?

Game of Thrones Season 8 is getting so much hate of the writing and rushed plot, fans are boycotting it before even watching the final episode. While the earlier Seasons have the books to assist writing, last 2 season without George RR Martin, the quality has dropped so much. GOT S8E5 was the breaking point, now fans want the show to be remade and have filed a petition.

A million sign Petition

What started as a way of showing their anger towards the Game of Thrones Season 8 has now taken a form of a massive movement. A user named Dylan D. started a petition on change.org asking HBO to remake the last two seasons of Game of Thrones.

As of right now, 724,557 and counting people have signed the petition and it is trending all over the world. No one thought that the petition would even get 30,000 signs, but it is running close to the one million mark!

Reason for the Hate

Game of Thrones Season 8 has been so poorly written with so many inconsistencies, people have lost over it. GOT S8 Episode 3 was so dark and none of the major characters died even after surrounded by so many enemies. The whole point of Night King and Bran was wasted.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 was as stupid as it could be, with Scorpion bolt as accurate as a missile. Starbucks cup in Winterfell or Cersei not killing Dany when she has the chance was totally illogical.

The final nail in the coffin was put down in GOT S8 Episode 5 when Dany turned on a full mad queen and burned the innocents in King’s Landing. Euron popping out of nowhere to fight Jaime Lannister and he forgetting about the people, made no sense at all. Not just the armies, entire character arcs are destroyed in Game of Thrones Season 8. 

Will HBO remake Game of Thrones?

The most important thing to consider is that the outcome of the petition. There is no way HBO is going to remake Game of Thrones Season 8 in any condition, even though the petition reaches 10 million signatures. In all the previous cases, for example, The Last Jed; Star Wars makers did nothing.

It is not easy to shoot and remake entire Seasons no matter how much angry the public is. But given the popularity of Game of Thrones, there might be something possible, maybe an animated show comes out or even more episodes for season 8?
