Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6 prediction: Who dies and who survives?

Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6 is going to be the final episode. And this would bring an end to the epic journey that has gone on for so long. The eighth season of GOT has been a bumpy ride.

The show has faced a lot of criticism for sloppy writing. The character arcs have been compromised for the sake of the bigger picture. And this has not gone down well for the fans. So, let’s start predicting who is going to survive the final episode of GOT.

Who is going to die in Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6?

Well, after the mad wrath that the Mother of Dragons showed in the previous episode, she is bound to get killed. She has definitely pissed off a lot of people and they definitely wouldn’t want a newly turned villain to rule over them.

And what about Jon Snow? He has become the hot favourite among the characters to sit on the Iron Throne. Even though he does not want the throne, he might consider sitting on it now. He is not likely to proclaim Daenerys as his queen now. And some are even claiming that Jon will be the one kill Daenerys.

But, that brings up further questions too. How will he manage to survive Daenerys’s army after executing the leader? Would Drogon not come after Jon if he harms Daenerys? Unless someone ‘takes care’ of him first.

Arya Stark is also one of the contenders to kill Daenerys in Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6. You can see the look she gives to Daenerys in the Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6 promo. But, it would be more poetic if Jon kills Dany. Arya has already had her hero moment when she killed the NIght King.

Also, if someone has to get to Daenerys, they have go through Grey Worm. he is probably the sole loyal advisor left to Dany. And during the battle of King’s Landing, vengeance took over him as well and he attacked an unarmed person. So, the future does not look very good for him.

Another advisor that Dany has/had is Tyrion. In the promo, we can see him walking grimly through the ruins of King’s Landing. Daenerys has already betrayed his trust too. He was the one who was hell-bent on stopping Daenerys from killing the innocent civilians of King’s Landing. But, the Mad Queen went on anyway.

The people in the North, who are Sansa, Bran, and the rest of the team are more likely to be alive when the show ends.

Who will sit on the Iron Throne?

Before the final season had started, the possibility of sitting on the Iron Throne had been narrowed down to three options. Cersei, Jon Snow, and Daenerys. Cersei is dead, Dany is most likely to die and Jon doesn’t want the throne. There was a lot of buzz around Sansa ultimately sitting on the throne. But, it seems from previous discussions that she is content with being Lady of Winterfell.

And what about King’s Landing? Is it even there anymore? It is a symbol for the ruler of Westeros. And now it is in ruins. So, if Daenerys does not survive, there might be a power vacuum. And that would require being filled.

For now, we can’t predict who is going to sit on the Iron Throne. For all we know, it could be Bran too. All we can do now is wait for Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6. And find out what is going to happen in the ultimate showdown.
