However, talks now seem to have fallen through as McGregor is demanding a much higher payday than what the company is willing to offer him. To add to this, he recently injured his hand, which is likely to impact his movement in the Octagon as well greatly.

Even before he announces an official return to the UFC, several top fighters have expressed interest in facing him. This includes Justin Gaethje, as well as Keith Thurman from the world of boxing. Thurman is currently set to face Manny Pacquiao in July.
