Android Q, the next iteration of Google’s mobile OS is coming to flagship devices specifically, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
Notably, Galaxy S10, the latest flagship offering of Samsung, has four different hardware variant namely: Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10 5G.
In contrast, Note 9 is an older device but still has hardware and software that is worth to buy.
Sooner, there’d be a feature on both devices from Google on the upcoming Android Q update.
Android Q update and the Dark Mode
Google has been teasing fans with the system-wide dark mode support. Just recently, the Google I/O developer conference in Mountain View confirmed that system-wide dark mode support is on its way to the next Android 10.

Google explained that the dark mode will help the users in reducing the eye strain and will also help in battery saving. It should be noted that battery saving part is only true if your phone uses an AMOLED or OLED display.
Samsung One UI and Dark Mode
Interestingly Samsung already supports the system-wide dark mode through its custom Android skin called One UI. Samsung had got a lot of flak for their older custom skin known as TouchWiz.
However, OneUI is a serious custom skin with some of the best functionality. Additionally, dark mode in the OneUI can be set to turn on automatically or permanently.
But, Android fans still need to wait for the release of the Android Q update for Galaxy S10 and Note 9.
