Phil Coulson passed away last season and the Agents of S.H.I.E.LD season 6 began with Mack taking on the role of the new acting director. The whole team is being rebuilt and not everything feels okay.

Sarge – Coulson from another universe?
It has been more than a year since Coulson died but the characters are still reeling over the shock. The first episode of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 6 showed how it has affected the rest of the crew. Several energy anomalies have been revealed and it has been shown that they are formed by hostile strangers whose leader looks like Coulson.
At first, the team thought that the person is really Coulson, but he turned out to be someone else called Sarge. The presence of this new person made the crew start to speculate about his identity and whether he is their old director from a parallel universe.
As the investigations began, it was also revealed that this new person’s DNA matched that of Coulson. Moving ahead, we can expect to see his real identity and hope that his story will be revealed.
Daisy and Simmons under highlight
The show writers seem to be taking things slowly as a lot more stories and plots will be tackled in the show. For example, the season 6 episode 3 will be focused on how Daisy and Simmons are going to Fitz. It also appears that season 6 will be focused on the redemption of Fitz.
The episode events will take place on Kitson and the focus of the episode will be Daisy and Simmons journey. Besides that, there is not much to be discussed about the season because it is still in its early episodes.
