The Blacklist season 6 special 2 hour event confirmed, several shockers expected

The Blacklist season 6 is giving a special treat to its fans in the form of a special two-hour event with episode 18 and episode 19.

Raymond Reddington and Liz Keen fans will be surprised to know that the showrunners are presenting another two-hour episode this Friday. The episode will reveal several shockers about the duo, including possibly sharing the entire backstory of Katarina Rostova (played by Lotte Verbeek) – something everybody has been waiting for for a long time.

Another Blacklister confirmed

The Blacklist Season 6 episode listIn the first half of The Blacklist season 6 episode 18, the duo will face off with another criminal on the Blacklist who goes by the monicker of Brockton College Killer. A dead body is discovered in the woods and The Task Force is called on to help with the investigation.

The synopsis of the episode mentioned that Reddington will have some other things to take care of in the meanwhile. He will contact Katarina’s father, Dom for some advice, but may end up stumbling on a shocking discovery about Katarina instead.

Katarina’s past revealed

The Blacklist season 6 KatarinaIt is unclear what Raymond will discover, but much of The Blacklist season 6 episode 19 will be focused on these events. The episode will show a flashback from the past, and the synopsis mentions that Katarina will be shown in a different country after a mission goes “catastrophically wrong”.

It is speculated that in this episode, Katarina will seek out Raymond because he is “the only person she trusts, a man who has vowed to always protect her.”

Fans have been waiting for a long time to uncover the mystery of the relationship between Red and Katarina. Tune in to NBC on April 26 at 8 pm ET to catch the latest episodes from The Blacklist season 6.
