Suits season 9 has been confirmed to be returning this year. The showrunners have confirmed that this will indeed be the last season of the legal drama.

Is Rachel coming back in Suits season 9?
Speculations have been on the rise since it was revealed that this is the end of the show. One of the major Suits season 9 theories for the season is whether the Zanes will be coming back. Rachel Zane and Robert Zane have been central to the shows since it first aired all those years ago and fans are hoping they will come back, even if for a short duration.
But there seems to be no way this can happen. Meghan Markle is expected to give birth this month and it does not seem likely that she will return to the show postpartum. Wendell Pierce, who played Robert Zane, has other projects on his mind, including Jack Ryan, an Amazon Prime original.
Harvey and Donna confess their feelings
One of the major storylines of the season will be Harvey and Donna’s new relationship. After making fans wait for 7 years, the two finally admitted their feeling at the and of season 8.
It will be interesting to see where their relationship ends up as the show prepare for it last few episodes in season 9. Series creator Aaron Korsh spoke about it:
“To me, the question is, how are they going to deal with each other now that these feelings have been let out? We’re going to explore quite a bit. Also, how is it going to affect the people they’re working with at the firm,” he said.
Suits season 9 airs this summer.
