How to Jailbreak iOS 12 with the help of Unc0ver

Jailbreak iOS 12 software, UncOver is now accessible for download for the new iOS version 12 (12.1.2 ). The jailbreak is available to all iDevices having A8 to A11 processors. This means that the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max will miss out as they have A12 chips. Support for the newer chip, A12, is suspected to come soon.

For those who are unaware, Jailbreaking is removing software restrictions imposed by Apple on your iDevices. With jailbreak, you can tweak apps and change the working of your iPhone or iPad. The following Apple devices are congenial with the Unc0ver Jailbreak. Running iOS 12 or below

• iPhone X, 8/8 Plus,  7/7 Plus, 6/6s Plus, iPhone SE
• iPad’s, iPad Pro all models, excluding 2018

The following are non-compatible phones.

• iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR
• iPad Pro 2018

STEPS ON HOW TO JAILBREAK iOS 12, USING UncOver

It simple. Follow the steps underlined below:

• Install UncOver on your iPhone/ iPad
• Now connect your iDevice to your laptop or computer via a USB
• Launch Cydia Impactor on your PC or Mac(You will have to download this onto your PC)
• Select your device from the Cydia app, enter your Apple ID than insert your password and click “OK”.
• Once this is done open settings menu of your phone there find your Apple ID certificate, tap on the “Trust” icon two times.
• Now the final step, open the Unc0ver app on your phone and tap the jailbreak button. Your device will now respire. When your phone comes back up, start the Unc0ver app again and tap jailbreak one more time. Now you’re done!

One very important thing, The UncOver utility is a semi-untethered jailbreak, meaning you’ll have to re-enable the jailbreak every time you reboot your device.
