Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers are dime a dozen thanks to the recent hit premiere episode of the series. Now according to the latest spoiler around the block, the Arya’s weapon which we see in S8E1 actually has a connection that goes way back to season 6.
Arya Stark is all set to face the Night King and his army. She has already made plans on how to kill the Night King. In the first episode of Game of Thrones Season 8, Arya reunited with her old friend who is also a weapons smith.

Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: What’s the deal with Arya’s weapon?
After a little flirting with Gendry, Arya assigned him a very important task. Gendry is supposed to make a weapon for her which is a spear-like staff and has a detachable blade mechanic. Arya has always favoured swords, especially her ‘Needle’. But this new weapon seems to do something with her training with the Faceless Men of Braavos.
It is no spoiler that Arya spent a lot of time outside Winterfell alone and her training will definitely come handy when it comes to killing the Night King. Arya learned to use a new weapon as a part of her training with the Faceless Men of Braavos. However, after the sixth season, the quarterstaff was not much important for her.
It’s Game of Thrones season 8 and Arya is much more than Arya Stark of Winterfell. She has lived through a dozen ordeals that others wouldn’t have survived through. So it is sensible of Arya to make the best use of her talent when fighting with the White Walkers.
Some GoT season 8 spoilers have revealed that the secret weapon that Arya has ordered to be made is indeed a “quarterstaff”. She may use her Faceless Men training in the big war. The weapon will have some special features as well. Its tip will be made of dragon glass. It can also split into two maintaining a “collapsable” function.
