HBO keeping things under wraps
HBO and Sky Atlantic are being very tight-lipped about Game of Thrones season 8, including keeping the episode titles and episode length under wraps. And it is understandable since this is the most hyped show of this year.
Fans have been waiting for nearly 2 years for the 8th season to be released. HBO has already revealed that this season will only have 6 episodes, compared to the 7 episode run of last season and 10 episode run of the previous seasons. This makes this season the shortest Game of Thrones season till date.

As for the runtime of each episode of GoT, here are the details:
Episode one – 54 mins
Episode two – 58 mins
Episode three – 82 minutes
Episode four – 78 minutes
Episode five – 79 minutes
Episode six – 79 minutes
With the diminished number of episodes, fans will be delighted to know that the last 4 episodes will run for or nearly an hour and a half, making them the longest episodes in the history of the show.
This means that GoT season 8 will run for nearly 440 minutes, which adds up to 7 hours and 20 minutes. The longest episode this season will be the third one, titled The Dragon and the wolf, with a runtime of 81 minutes.
