Game of Thrones 8 episode 3 prediction: Who will die and who will survive the Battle of Winterfell?

Game of Thrones has a history of defying audiences expectation by killing off its characters at the height of their arc. With the Battle for Winterfell approaching in its third episode, the body count is certainly going to be high, and fan speculations are on the rise about who might make it out of the blood bath and who is certain to meet a grisly end.

Who will survive:

Game of Thrones season 8 TyrionIf we have learnt anything from Game of Thrones, it is that don’t look too happy or you might be killed off. As soon as a character dared to so much as a smile on this show, they met the end. And that is how we are going to predict who is going to survive Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 and who is not.

Both Jon and Dany pretty bummed out that they are related, Sansa is once again worried that the North will have to bend the knee to a queen, and Tyrion is unhappy that he has been banished to the crypt. As a result, their misery may well mean that these characters will survive GoT S8E3.

Who will die:

Game of Thrones 8 episode 3 predictionHowever, Gendry and Greyworm may not be so lucky after all. Both the characters enjoyed a few moments of happiness in the second episode as they kissed their beloveds and suited up for battle. This could only mean that the end is nigh for both of them.

Brienne of Tarth also experienced a moment of elation She became the first female knight in the seven kingdoms. But this may very well mean that there is nothing left for her to achieve, and she is destined to die now.

Other characters that may be bludgeoned to death or burnt in in hellfire are Samwell Tarly, Gilly, and baby Sam.

For now, all we can do is wait and watch. Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 airs on HBO at 9:00 p.m. This Sunday
