The initial trailer for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood dropped on 20 March 2019, which featured a star studded affair. The trailer is of 90 seconds and it has the usual Tarantino stuff. Great humour and Mike Moh showing off some kick ass moves as Bruce Lee.

The movie is going to release on 26 July 2019 in the United States. And it will release in the United Kingdom on 14 August 2019.

Who in the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?

As mentioned before, Tarantino’s ninth project is a star studded affair. As it is evident from the poster Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are going to be in the movie. They are going to play roles of Cliff Booth and Rick Dalton. On the other hand, Margot Robbie will play the character of Sharon Tate. Dakota Fanning will be Squeaky Fromme and Damian Lewis will be Steve McQueen. And most importantly, the movie will feature Al Pacino as Marvin Shwarz!

The other list of actors include James Marsden, Michael Madsen, Danny Strong, Mikey Madison, Clu Gulager, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant and many more. Till now, we don’t know what characters will they be playing.

Burt Reynolds was going to play the role of George Spahn. But he died aged 82. He had not filmed any scenes for the movie and hence the role went to Bruce Dern. This movie will also be the last one Luke Perry, who tragically died in March.

Even though DiCaprio and Pitt feature on the poster, Margot Robbie’s look took the internet by storm. She posted a picture of herself in an attire resembling Tate’s famous black turtleneck and ivory dress. The attire is paired with white boots. And it is so spooky that she looks exactly like Tate.

What is the plot of the movie?

The script of the movie might focus on the murder of Sharon Tate, who is an actress, by Manson’s followers. The official synopsis of the movie says: The story is set in 1969 with the backdrop of the hippy Hollywood in Los Angeles.

The two leads are Rick Dalton, former star of Western TV series and his stunt double Cliff Booth. And both of them are trying to make it big in Hollywood. But, the plot twist is that Rick has a famous neighbour, Sharon Tate.

DiCaprio said, “I’m an LA native and after reading the script, I have to say that it is one of the best screenplays. We are going to give our best.”
