The wait for Rick and Morty Season 4 release date began in October 2017. This was the time when the third season aired its last episode. Almost a year and a half later, we still don’t have any answers about the fourth season of the show. All we have are guesses, assumptions, and speculations.
However, Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the show, posted a Tweet on today which teased that the production of Rick and Morty Season 4 is likely over! Let us take a closer look.
Justin Roiland Teases Rick and Morty Season 4
Justin Roiland’s Tweet reads “The new Rick and Morty episodes are feeling preeeetty great.” Now, this could mean that a few episodes have been produced which are “preeeetty great” or the entire show is produced (which is a more likely scenario). Here’s the Tweet:

This is not the first time that Roiland has teased Rick and Morty Season 4. In the past, he posted an image with a caption that teased the fourth season is going to feature an Interdimensional Cable episode.
Rick and Morty Season 4 Release Date
While the production may have been over for all (or several) of the episodes of the fourth season, this does not mean we get an immediate release date. This is because post-production still remains.
This involves making edits and improvements to the first draft of the shows and giving it the final touch before release. We expect Rick and Morty Season 4 to come out either in late Q2 2019 or early Q3 2019.
