13 Reasons Why Season 3 has been renewed and it looks like this show is on a roll. The renewal was announced by Netflix on 6 June 2018. The third season started taking shape just Just after 3 weeks of the second season being on air.
The third season of 13 Reasons Why will also feature 13 episodes. The shooting had begun last year and so it might premiere in 2019. 13 Reasons Why Season 3 will have the original showrunner and creator, Brian Yorkey. The other producers for this season will include Selena Gomez, Mandy Teefey, Tom McCarthy, Kristel Laiblin, Joy Gorman and Steve Golin.
Who is in the cast for 13 Reasons Why Season 3?
A report from OtakuKart has suggested that most of the cast will be returning in season 3 of 13 Reasons Why. Hence, we will get to see Dylan Minnette, Alisha Boe, Brandon Flynn, David Druid, and Christian Navarro.
What will be the plot?
Dylan Minnette had confessed that season 3’s script has been the best out of all the seasons so far. As we know, Hannah left a series of tapes before she committed suicide. And the third season of 13 Reasons Why will pick up from this tangent because the investigation will continue.
But someone might try to obstruct the truth from getting revealed. Yorkey has also said that 13 Reasons Why season 3 will focus on Tyler’s character. He was subject to a lot of bullying and now he will get to know more about his character.
Yorkey told Digital Spy,
“We have had a character who was very socially isolated and bullied. And he did not handle it well, given that he was about to make tragic choices.”
He also explained that we will see a balance of the episodes which will try to understand Tyler’s character. And what actually led him to make this difficult choice.
