‘Young & the Restless’ Star Kristoff St. John Dead at 52, RIP Messages Flood on Twitter by Fans

Young & the Restless star Kristoff St. John died this Sunday. According to the sources, his body was found by his friends who immediately alerted the paramedics and police. He was declared dead on spot.

Kristoff’s friends were checking on him at his home in San Fernando Valley when they found his body. There are no signs of foul play, but as per the sources, alcohol might have played a role in the actor’s death.

Kristoff has played the role of Neil Winters since 1991 on Y&R. Due to his role, Kristoff ended up getting nine nominations for Daytime Emmy Award. Not only this, he even won ten NACCP Image Awards.

Kristoff has a troubled and tragic incident when it comes to suicide. He lost his son Julian, who was born out of his previous wedlock. Kristoff and ex-wife Mia St. John sued the mental health facility for negligence where their son was getting his treatment. A settlement was eventually made in that case.

In 2017, Kristoff threatened to commit suicide around the anniversary of Julian’s suicide. He was placed under psychiatric evaluation for seventy two hours after that.

Mia reacted with an emotional post on the social media. It is clear from the post that as per her, there is a connection between the death of his son and Kristoff. She wrote,

THAT HOSPITAL KILLED OUR SON @TheArtofJulian THEN MY HUSBAND @kristoffstjohn1. THATS WHAT HAPPENED! THEY KILLED MY FAMILY

Mia and Kristoff founded the El Saber es Poder Foundation after the death of their son for fighting mental illness.
